From the folks who brought us DEAD MOON RISING....

Anubis Digital Studios is taking audience interaction to a whole new level!

Anubis Digital Studios is the first production company to create a hybrid merger of traditional movie production, modern webisode production, and the audience creativity of YouTube.

Anubis produced and released the zombie comedy Dead Moon Rising in early 2008.  In less than 30 days, the movie was Fangoria Magazine’s Video of the Month.  The movie’s North American distribution has proven more successful than anyone ever dreamed it would be.

Now Anubis is pushing audience interaction to a level never before seen.  Selected winners from the Anubis Digital Quick Bites Horror Film Contest will actually write, cast, shoot, edit, and produce parallel web-series episodes for Dead Moon Rising 2 from the comfort of their own hometown.  They will also share in the profits.

The sequel to Dead Moon Rising will be released as free downloads, and advertisements will pay for the production.  Anubis is creating the main storyline and video episodes with many of the original characters from the first movie.  The contest winners will write and produce their own threads of the series within the framework of certain rules related to the zombie infection outbreak.  As the video series nears its conclusion, the separate threads will come together into a finale.

Anyone can enter the contest by submitting one or more 4 to 15 minute horror or horror/comedy videos.  Anubis will select 5 production teams based on their ability to create a high quality video with a great story.  The selected producers will be given contracts to produce their own thread of the series and share in the profits with Anubis.

The videos must be submitted to Anubis no later than October 15, 2008.  The top videos will be shown and winners announced at the Anubis Digital World’s Largest Annual Zombie Halloween Ball, which will take place October 31, 2008 in Louisville, KY.
